NEW DELHI: Supreme Court on Monday came down heavily on Muslim petitioners who had sought an urgent hearing in the Karnataka hijab ban case.
The court added that will not accept a plea seeking adjournment as an early hearing was sought by the petitioners.
SC further issued a notice on a plea seeking stay on Karnataka high court upholding hijab ban.
The court will now hear the case on September 5.
