Police arrested Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi for allegedly exhibiting nudity before two minor girls in public on July 4. A case was registered under the POCSO Act, said Thrissur West Police.
Two children aged nine and fourteen recognised him near SN Park in the Ayyanthole area of Thrissur.
The investigation was carried out based on the details of his vehicle. The children confessed he was at the park in a black car and CCTV footage was checked to confirm the person.
The report said that Sreejith had been booked for the incident and during the investigation he confessed that he was apparently undergoing treatment for a behavioral disorder.
This is not the first time that Sreejith has been booked for doing such an obscene act. He was booked in a similar case in Palakkad a few years ago. The case eventually died down and he said it was baseless.
