SHIMLA: AAP’s Himachal Pradesh co-in-charge Kulwant Singh Baath returned to the BJP on Wednesday after announcing his “ghar wapsi” on Twitter. He used to be BJP’s Delhi unit vice-president.
A member of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Baath belongs to Majhari village of Bilaspur district’s Naina Devi assembly constituency. Hehad joined BJP in 2005, served as convener of its Sikh cell in Delhi, and entered AAP during the yearlong farmers’ protest. On Wednesday, he rejoined the BJP in Shimla.
Baath claimed that “the difference between AAP’s words and deeds” had influenced his decision.
