In his first remarks since the December 13 incident, PM Modi said the security breach is painful and a matter of concern. He called for no squabbling over the issue amid the opposition’s protests over it in Parliament.
“Efforts should also be made to look for a solution with collective spirit.
Everyone should avoid squabbling over such an issue,” he said in an interview to a Hindi daily.
The Prime Minister said probe agencies are investigating the incident and taking stringent measures.

“The gravity of the incident which happened in Parliament should not be underestimated. The Speaker has also been taking necessary steps with all seriousness,” he added.
Earlier this week, two persons jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitors’ gallery and sprayed yellow colour smoke when the Zero Hour proceedings were going on.
Delhi Police have till now arrested six persons in connection with its probe into the security breach.
