AMBALA: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi would address a rally under election campaign for Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Ambala Lok Sabha candidate Banto Kataria in Ambala constituency on May 18.
As per Haryana agriculture minister Kanwar Pal, “PM Modi will address a grand rally of Ambala Lok Sabha constituency at police lines ground in Ambala City on May 18.The date and venue have been finalized on Tuesday.”
Kanwar Pal accompanied by Haryana transport minister Aseem Goel, Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Arora and other senior party leaders on Tuesday visited the police lines ground in Ambala City. Ambala deputy commissioner Shaleen and superintendent of police Jashandeep Singh Randhawa were also present during the ground visit in the city.
Sources said BJP was looking for a suitable big ground in Ambala constituency area in Ambala or Yamunanagar districts, to organize a large rally, where PM Modi could be invited. As the rally ground has been finalized and with plans of Modi’s visit to Haryana, BJP has intensified its election campaign in the state.
