Several buses parked at a garage in Bengaluru caught fire this morning after it erupted due to a welding activity, said a senior official.
Visuals showed around five-six buses burning under a metal structure in Veerbhadra Nagar and plumes of black smoke engulfing the sky.
Firefighters have brought the fire under control and no one was injured in the incident, the official said.
“There has been no casualty or injury. The fire started due to a welding work. The fire is now under control,” said Kamal Pant, Director General of Police and Director General of Fire and Emergency Services.
