The error-ridden map, however, was snapped up by BJP well before Tharoor could issue a corrigendum. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya sought to link Tharoor’s blunder with Congress‘ Bharat Jodo Yatra, now in Karnataka, alleging that Tharoor’s map “dismembering” India was at cross purposes with the stated intent of the yatra to unite the country.
