The prime minister highlighted that the government started working on startups at the right time when the word did not hold much meaning in the country.
“The Startup Mahakumbh event, at this scale, assumes importance now, when the country is on the development roadmap to 2047. We have seen in the past few decades, how India has made a name for itself in the IT services and software sectors. Now, we are seeing startup and innovation culture grow in India,” PM Modi said.
On artificial intelligence, the prime minister said it is India’s time. “The world now knows that India has the upper hand when it comes to AI,” he said. “Now, I use AI apps as well, to reach audiences of different languages with elections around the corner. I reach Tamil and Telugu audiences with the help of AI,” PM Modi said.
