Keeping an eye to sweep Tripura in the upcoming Assembly election, Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha flagged off Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ at Dharmanagar on January 05. The Yatra will last for eight days and cover around 60 constituencies of the poll-bound Tripura. The purpose of Jan Vishwas Yatra programme is to strengthen the party support base in the state. The Yatra will showcase the developmental works the BJP government has done since 2018. Assembly polls in Tripura are slated for 2023.
