Gujarat BJP State President CR Patil inaugurated the ‘Kalash Yatra’ as part of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign on October 29. A total of 75 ‘Kalash’ departed for Delhi in electric vehicles in the morning. During a press conference, CR Patil expressed, “To mark the conclusion of the Amrit Mahotsav, Prime Minister Modi introduced the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign to the nation. Soil or rice grains were collected from the homes of courageous individuals in every village across Gujarat, and these ‘Kalash’ have now set out for Delhi in 75 e-vehicles. I extend my gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for this initiative.” Within the framework of this campaign, the urns collected from various regions of the country will be accorded a grand reception through cultural festivities in Delhi. An extensive program is set to take place to celebrate the unbroken legacy of the bravery of our immortal martyrs and lay an inspirational foundation for the future.
