As informed by UNICEF India’s Chief of Health Luigi d’Aquino, India has identified digital health as one of its top three priorities that are relevant according to the Indian context. The step has been taken keeping in view the present and developing digital infrastructure in the country. On the second day of G20 meeting of Health Working Group (HWG) that was held in Goa on April 19, Luigi d’Aquino said, “There have been 3 pillars identified as priorities and I think all are very relevant according to the context of India, one is about Emergency Preparedness, Digital Health and Access to the medical counter-measures for all…” The meeting was held under Indian Presidency in Goa. More than 180 delegates from 19 G20 member countries, 10 invited states and 22 International Organizations will be participating in the meeting, the release said on Sunday.
