Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, inaugurated Skyroot Aerospace’s new headquarters, ‘MAX-Q,’ situated within the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park in Hyderabad. At the same event, he also unveiled the Vikram-1 Orbital Launch Vehicle. In an interview with ANI at the new Skyroot Aerospace headquarters, Dr. Jitendra Singh expressed that India has shifted from being a nation that follows others’ lead to one that is now pioneering in space exploration. Skyroot Aerospace is a private Indian aerospace company founded by former ISRO engineers and scientists, with a focus on developing and launching small-lift launch vehicles tailored for the small satellite market.
