On October 30, the Golden Temple in Amritsar gleamed with lights to celebrate the Parkash Purab of Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of Sikhs. Devotees from across the nation flocked to the Golden Temple to pay their respects and immerse themselves in the Amrit Saras Kund, a pool symbolizing immortality. Early in the morning, pilgrims began arriving at the Darbar Sahib to offer their prayers on the occasion of Guru Ram Das’s birth anniversary. The Golden Temple complex was adorned with fragrant flowers from various regions, both domestic and international, in honour of this significant ‘Parkash Purab.’
