Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree remark, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 by the Gujarat High Court. The fine came after Gujarat High Court set aside the 2016 order of the Central Information Commission (CIC) which had then asked the Gujarat University to provide information about PM Modi’s MA degree to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. BJP’ Sambit Patra said, “Gujarat High Court has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Arvind Kejriwal. And this is not new, earlier also it happened. He is frustrated because his ministers who are behind bars are not getting bail from the court.”
