To mark the 76th anniversary of India’s independence which falls on August 15, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated 76 new Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state on August 14, taking the count to 659.Speaking on the employment, education, and health issues of Punjab, the CM said, “Last year, on the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, we had started 75 Aam Aadmi clinics in Punjab, the number of which has reached 583 in just one year…the benefits of which have been taken by about 45 lakh people so far…Now, on completion of 76 years of independence, today we are dedicating 76 more new Aam Aadmi Clinics, taking the count to 659…These clinics are proving to be a boon for those people who till now were deprived of health services due to the high cost of treatment, he added.
