Speaking at the inaugural event of the new ECGC office in Mumbai on March 05, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal affirmed that in ‘Azadi ka Amrit Kaal’, India’s export will cross USD 750 billion which is itself a milestone. Speaking with the media persons, Piyush Goyal said, “I got the opportunity to come here at the inauguration of the ECGC’s new office. They have built a very beautiful office. it has been built as a symbol of the new India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is that India should be presented in the world as a modern power and need to be self-reliant. Our work should make an impact in the world and our way of doing work should be modern. I congratulate ECGC on the way they are serving people wisely and transparently. About 25 per cent of exports of goods and merchandise is covered by ECGC and I believe the way ECGC is providing service through its policy is going to play a big role in future. In Azadi ka Amrit Kaal our export will cross USD 750 billion this is itself a milestone.”
