External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday stressed on the ‘ignorance’ of richer countries and how their actions are affecting the poorer nations. He suggested that it is a “very stressful, and unhappy world today” where countries are “struggling”. While interacting with the Indian community in Egypt’s Cairo, he said that it is necessary for independent-minded countries to speak their mind as world is getting very polarised. “Richer countries not fully grasping how poorer countries are being hurt by what’s happening in world. It’s very stressful, unhappy world today. Countries struggling,” he said.
