Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha attended the “Sadhbhavana” Sufivaad aur Kashmiriyat conference organised by the Indian Minorities Foundation in Srinagar. While addressing the event, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha spoke about the changes in J&K throughout the years. He also praised the Prime Minister for peace and tranquility. The conference aimed to deliver a message of peace from the Kashmir valley and bring together experts from all religions—Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and others—on a single platform. The people of Jammu and Kashmir responded enthusiastically to the summit, pledging to work together to keep peace and prosperity in Kashmir. Many religious academics speak on the religious unity in Kashmir. While addressing the event, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said, “Due to change in the mindset of the People Jammu Kashmir has become more peaceful. Stone pelting is history. People of Jammu Kashmir are now free to live the way they want. I would also like to credit the Prime Minister for the change.”
