BJP President JP Nadda, accompanied by Union Minister Anurag Thakur and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, visited Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh on August 20 to assess the aftermath of heavy rains and floods. Nadda interacted with the families of the deceased and surveyed the situation in the flood-hit areas. He also inspected the situation in the Summer Hill area of Shimla. Expressing his sadness over the calamity’s impact, Nadda praised the administration’s efforts in assisting the displaced. He underscored the importance of providing necessary aid to the affected individuals and commended ongoing relief initiatives.
