A committee has been established to investigate the tragic deaths of 24 individuals, including 12 newborns, which occurred within a span of 24 hours from September 30 to October 01 at a civil hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra. The state’s Medical Education Minister, Hasan Mushrif, provided this information, stating that among the deceased, there were approximately 4-5 small children, and the causes ranged from snake bites to poisoning and other factors. Despite the assurance of an adequate number of doctors and medicines, the situation demands a thorough examination. Mushrif further mentioned that a committee has been assembled to delve into the matter, with the involvement of the commissioner and director, and he himself plans to visit the location for further investigation on October 3rd.
