Talking on the Nuh clashes, Congress leader Deepender Hooda on August 01 appealed to the people in Haryana to maintain peace and order. He also urged the state government to remain alert over the matter and suggested the deployment of security forces as much as possible. “I appeal to the people to maintain law and peace in the state. I also requested the government to be alert and deploy security forces as many as possible,” said Deepender Hooda. He further said, “If the clashes were preplanned, what were the intelligence department and vigilance department doing. It could have been prevented by the deployment of security forces.” Meanwhile, the authorities on August 01 said mobile internet services will remain suspended in Nuh district till August 02 in light of clashes between two groups. Prohibitory orders were also put in place in the district a day after the clashes. Following the clashes, a police contingent was deployed at the scene to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident.
