A crude oil wagon en route Kiul junction caught fire at Jamalpur station on August 16. Shivraj Kumar, Fire Officer, informed ANI that the fire was doused off and no casualties were reported. Four fire vans and 12 fire officers were involved in the firefighting operation. He further added that the fire was taken care of just in time, and a major mishap was averted. The reason behind this is said to be a spark.“We were informed by Jamalpur Police Station. The cause of the fire is said to be a spark at the top of the Wagon. The fire is now under control and a major mishap has been avoided. No casualties have taken place,” said Shivraj Kumar, Fire Officer.
