Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar extended a warm welcome to 212 Indian nationals who had faced the trials of being stranded in Israel amid the ongoing conflict. The endeavor, aptly named ‘Operation Ajay,’ saw the successful repatriation of these citizens to New Delhi via a dedicated charter flight. Departing from Israel’s Ben Gurion airport the night before, this flight accommodated 212 Indian passengers, including an infant. Notably, the passengers were selected on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, emphasizing the urgency of their return. In a touching moment captured by news agency ANI, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar personally received the returning Indian nationals, underscoring the significance of this mission.
