On October 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the culmination event of the Meri Maati Mera Desh-Amrit Kalash Yatra at Delhi’s Kartavya Path. During the program, he laid the foundation stone for the Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial and symbolically applied ‘teeka’ on his forehead using soil. The event was graced by the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, and Ministers of State Meenakashi Lekhi and Arjun Ram Meghwal, among others. PM Modi addressed the enthusiastic crowd, emphasizing the significance of youth unity and the role of the ‘Mera Bharat Yuva’ organization in the country’s development. The Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign pays homage to the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The grand finale of the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign witnessed vibrant participation from all 36 states and union territories of the nation on October 30.
