On August 23, the ‘Sā Ladakh’ exhibition, Asia’s highest contemporary land art display, concluded in Leh. Attended by 300 individuals, including artists, locals, and foreigners, the closing ceremony featured German artist Philipp Frank’s light projection on natural terrain. Co-founder Raki Nikahetiya expressed satisfaction with the inaugural edition’s success. From the German Embassy in Delhi, Sebastian Fuchs hailed it as a pioneering event. The festival, running from August 1, spotlighted climate, culture, and community, marking a unique convergence of artistic expression and environmental awareness in the region.
