In celebration of International White Cane Safety Day on October 15, visually impaired individuals in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, orchestrated a White Cane Awareness program. A significant turnout of visually impaired people joined this event, brandishing their white canes. The primary goal of this initiative was to foster a profound sense of inclusivity within the broader community. By actively participating and advocating for the importance of the white cane as a symbol of independence and mobility, these individuals aimed to raise awareness about the challenges they face and promote understanding and support among the sighted population.
