Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw interacted with the audience at the Times Litfest in Delhi. He said India’s ‘aspirational generation’ wants world class services, of the standard that are available in US, Europe and Japan. The minister inaugurated the seventh edition of the Times Literature Festival and told the audience – a large proportion of them being the youth – that the government is working towards making India a developed nation. He also said that the Vande Bharat trains are better than those in European countries in terms of in-cabin vibrations and noise levels.
