On October 8, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath embarked on a spiritual journey to Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, where he paid his respects at the sacred Kedarnath temple. Following his prayers, he engaged with the media and expressed his deep appreciation for the annual pilgrimage that draws lakhs of devoted pilgrims to Kedarnath. He also highlighted the ongoing construction efforts at Badrinath Dham and emphasized the significance of these holy sites not only in India but also globally. Earlier in his visit, Adityanath had visited Badrinath Temple and the holy caves of Sundar Nath, engaging with seers and priests. His trip to Uttarakhand included participation in the 24th Central Regional Council meeting chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Narendranagar on October 7.
