As the curfew in Haryana’s Nuh was temporarily lifted for a three-hour duration, people emerged from their residences to procure essential goods. The specified window of curfew relaxation, spanning from 9 am to 12 noon, allowed residents to visit places like Nuh Sabzi Mandi and other outlets to obtain essential items, notably vegetables. The decision to ease the curfew restrictions and facilitate access to necessary commodities was taken by Nuh District Magistrate, Dhirendra Khadgata. This development follows the recent extension of the ban on mobile internet and bulk SMS by the state administration on Sunday. Additionally, the prohibition on all dongle services within the district remains in effect until Tuesday, August 8, 2023.The origins of this situation can be traced back to clashes that erupted during a VHP procession in Nuh. These clashes led to several days of arson in Haryana, prompting the enforcement of the curfew and subsequent security measures. As the curfew was momentarily lifted, people availed themselves of the opportunity to fulfill their essential needs within the stipulated timeframe.
