Gaurav Munjal, the CEO and co-founder of education technology firm Unacademy, on Tuesday said on Twitter that his family and pet dog had to be evacuated from their society on a tractor.

Munjal’s society, like many others, have been inundated after torrential downpour in the city led to heavy waterlogging in several parts of Bengaluru.

“Things are bad. Please take care. DM me if you need any help, I’ll try my best to help,” Munjal tweeted along with a video of his pet dog and family being taken away on a tractor.
With city streets submerged and traffic in chaos, many companies in the city asked staff to work from home.
Some city residents struggled to empty out flooded basements and shops.
Rain was expected to fall in the city and neighbouring areas until Friday, an IMD official said.
