NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 241.02 points down at 60826.22 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE,
Ltd.(down 20.00 per cent), Amforge Ind(down 16.95 per cent), Sri Ramakrishna(down 14.42 per cent), MPS Ltd(down 13.00 per cent) and Orosil Smiths(down 12.72 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 71.75 points down at 18127.35.
On the BSE,
Inds., , , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while ., , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
