Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, celebrated the remarkable achievement of Himachal Pradesh’s Indian Kabaddi players, both men and women, who clinched gold medals at the recent Asian Games. In a felicitation event jointly organized by the Kabaddi Association of Himachal Pradesh and the state government in Shimla, the Chief Minister personally recognized and honored six triumphant athletes. Each gold medalist had already been promised a reward of Rs 15 lakh by the state government. CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed his joy, particularly emphasizing the pride brought to Himachal and India by these five daughters who excelled in Kabaddi at the Asian Games. Furthermore, he announced plans for a separate government event to further honor these accomplished athletes.
