Parvesh Sahib Singh, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has urged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to refocus his efforts on addressing the escalating air pollution crisis in the National Capital, rather than engaging in what he referred to as “political tourism.” Singh pointed out that in Punjab, cases of stubble burning have surged by 700 per cent compared to the previous year. He suggested that if Kejriwal had taken more effective measures for Delhi, such a situation might have been averted. He further emphasized that Kejriwal should prioritize Delhi’s concerns over campaigning in other states and commended the Indian government’s efforts in reducing stubble-burning cases in Haryana.
